The coffeeSaxxe has a very expressive and fruity aroma with the typical Colombian combination of subtle acidity and pronounced body. With notes of nut and chocolate, it is a real taste experience for every espresso lover.
While adhering to the quality guidelines of the German Roasters Guild, we roast the beans single-origin and at low temperatures using the traditional drum method.
We recommend that you prepare it in a fully automatic machine, a portafilter or in a bialetti.
In the tasting competition of the German Roasters Guild, our KaffeeSaxxe 2021 won a gold medal.
The German Roasters Guild represents the interests of specialty coffee roasters in Germany. The guild and its members stand for outstanding quality of the green coffees used, traditional roasting, fresh specialty coffees and fair dealings with coffee farmers in the countries of origin. However, the guild not only demands the above-mentioned criteria from its members, but also scrutinises their coffees in the annual blind tasting. Roasting companies whose coffee or espresso has been awarded a prize are allowed to label it with the official medal. The competitions are the ideal opportunity for us to have our coffee and espresso varieties objectively assessed. The pleasing result: we bring home at least one gold or silver medal every year.
