Product information

The Cento is a very velvety espresso made from 100% Arabica beans with notes of marzipan, almond, honey and a little dark chocolate. All those who like their espresso rather soft and sweet, will be thrilled by the Cento.

In compliance with the quality guidelines of the German roasters guild, we roast the beans single-variety and at low temperatures in the traditional drum process.

We recommend you prepare it in an espresso maker, a portafilter machine or in a fully automatic machine.

In the 2011 tasting competition of the German Roasters Guild, our Espresso Cento won a gold medal in the espresso category.

The German Roasters Guild represents the interests of specialty coffee roasters in Germany. The guild and its members stand for outstanding quality of the green coffees used, traditional and health-conscious roasting, fresh specialty coffees and fair treatment of coffee farmers in the countries of origin. However, the guild not only demands the above-mentioned criteria from its members, but also scrutinises their coffees in the annual blind tasting. Roasting companies whose coffee or espresso has been awarded a prize are allowed to label it with the official medal. The competitions are the ideal opportunity for us to have our coffee and espresso varieties objectively assessed. The pleasing result: we bring home at least one gold or silver medal every year.
