With its full-bodied body, this coffee will delight all lovers of beans without rough edges. Characteristic of the blend of 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta beans is its spiciness with notes of chocolate and hazelnut.
While adhering to the quality guidelines of the German roasters guild, we roast the beans single variety and at low temperatures in the traditional drum process.
We recommend you prepare it in an espresso maker, a French press, a portafilter or in a fully automatic machine.
In the tasting competition of the German Roasters Guild, our Dresden Melange won a gold medal in 2012 and 2014.
The German Roasters Guild represents the interests of specialty coffee roasters in Germany. The guild and its members stand for outstanding quality of the green coffees used, traditional roasting, fresh specialty coffees and fair dealings with coffee farmers in the countries of origin. However, the guild not only demands the above-mentioned criteria from its members, but also scrutinises their coffees in the annual blind tasting. Roasting companies whose coffee or espresso has been awarded a prize are allowed to label it with the official medal. The competitions are the ideal opportunity for us to have our coffee and espresso varieties objectively assessed. The pleasing result: we bring home at least one gold or silver medal every year.
