The Dresden Melange is a coffee with a particularly round body. Characteristic for the blend of 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta beans are the harmonious spiciness and subtle sweetness with notes of dark chocolate, nutmeg and a little tobacco.
As a filter coffee, it is perfectly portioned for a single cup. Brew it fresh in your cup. By brewing it this way, you'll experience a very special treat of the finest flavors. You've never experienced your coffee so fresh.
While adhering to the quality guidelines of the German roasters' guild, we roast the beans single-origin and at low temperatures using the traditional drum method.
In the 2017 tasting competition of the German Roasters Guild, our Dresdner Melange won the gold medal in the filter coffee category.
The German Roasters Guild represents the interests of specialty coffee roasters in Germany. The guild and its members stand for outstanding quality of the green coffees used, traditional roasting, fresh specialty coffees and fair dealings with coffee farmers in the countries of origin. However, the guild not only demands the above-mentioned criteria from its members, but also scrutinises their coffees in the annual blind tasting. Roasting companies whose coffee or espresso has been awarded a prize are allowed to label it with the official medal. The competitions are the ideal opportunity for us to have our coffee and espresso varieties objectively assessed. The pleasing result: we bring home at least one gold or silver medal every year.
