The Decaffe made from 100% certified organic Arabica beans is the ideal coffee for those who want to enjoy without any kick. It is gently decaffeinated with natural spring carbonic acid and pure water. With this natural process, it retains its full aroma with notes of milk chocolate and almonds. As a decaffeinated coffee, it is an alternative for those who do not have to do without the taste and aroma of coffee despite their caffeine intolerance.
While adhering to the quality guidelines of the German roasters' guild, we roast the beans single-origin and at low temperatures using the traditional drum method.
We recommend that you prepare the coffee in a classic filter coffee machine, a hand filter or in a siphon.
The German Roasters Guild represents the interests of specialty coffee roasters in Germany. The guild and its members stand for outstanding quality of the green coffees used, traditional roasting, fresh specialty coffees and fair dealings with coffee farmers in the countries of origin. However, the guild not only demands the above-mentioned criteria from its members, but also scrutinises their coffees in the annual blind tasting. Roasting companies whose coffee or espresso has been awarded a prize are allowed to label it with the official medal. The competitions are the ideal opportunity for us to have our coffee and espresso varieties objectively assessed. The pleasing result: we bring home at least one gold or silver medal every year.

Erstklassig, doch leider nur kleine Packung
Ich bin wirklich Kaffeekenner und -genießer und ich habe bereits sehr, sehr viele Kaffeesorten ausprobiert. Ich trinke mittlerweile hauptsächlich koffeinfreien Kaffee, da er mir besser bekommt. Diesen Kaffee habe ich kürzlich im Konsum entdeckt. Zunächst zweifelte ich etwas, da wir bereits normalen Kaffee aus dieser Rösterei probiert haben, der uns nicht so gut geschmeckt hat. Doch ich wurde nicht enttäuscht von meiner Entdeckung. Er schmeckt mir persönlich sehr gut, hat trotz seiner spritzigen, fruchtigen Note auch eine leicht nussige, schokoladige. Und er ist sehr bekömmlich! Leider gibt es (bis jetzt) nur 250-Packungen und nur gemahlen. Es wäre toll, diesen Kaffee auch in 500 - 1000g - Packungen zu erhalten und in ganzen Bohnen.
